The beauty of Lambeau Field & history for NKU women’s basketball

Lambeau Field

There are NFL stadiums, and then there is Lambeau Field.

The home stadium to the only publicly-owned team in the National Football League should be on the bucket list of every football fan, regardless of which team they root for.

Not only is it an amazing facility, but the constant reminders of the storied history of the Packers are everywhere, from the roof to field level.

I took the complete tour, which takes you from the roof to the tunnel and out on the sidelines. If you are a football fan, you have to make the trip.

I definitely want to go back for a game now. Probably in September and October. I dodged the weather bullet in November with temperatures in the low 30s and only a few flurries.

While in Green Bay, I stopped by the Kress Events Center to watch some history. The NKU women’s basketball team opened Horizon League play with its first-ever win over Green Bay on the Phoenix’s home floor.

The Norse played a fantastic game and left with a 61-52 victory. You’ll see highlights in this week’s video.

Thank you again to everyone who has watched the previous videos and have subscribed to my channel. I’m excited to say that I’ve purchased the new Sony A7IV camera, which should arrive in early 2022. Once it does, I hope that the production quality of my videos will take a big jump!

Next week is probably the last video in the series, as I head up to Door County and then down to Milwaukee for the weekend’s second game. I have some 8K footage that might make it into another video. We’ll see.

Thank you again for all your support! Check out the video, and we’ll see you next week!
